do I call in problems after hours?
Call (512) 357-6253. An answering service will answer all calls.
Do
I need to send in a meter reading every month?
Yes. Failure to turn in a reading by the 15th of each month will
result in MWSC personnel coming to read your meter and a $50 charge
will be added to your billing.
How
do I pay my bill?
You may mail your payment to MWSC, PO Box 158, Maxwell, TX 78656
or come by the office at 216 Main Street, Maxwell Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We accept cash,
checks and money orders. A drop box is available next to the front
door for after-hours payments. You can also pay with check by phone
or set up a monthly bank draft. |
What
could cause a high water bill?
Dripping faucets, running toilets, leak on member’s side of
service, continuous running water in live stock troughs are a few
examples.
Who
is responsible for water leaks?
MWSC is responsible for leaks on their side of the meter and will
do the repairs. Leaks on the member’s side of the meter are
the responsibility of the member. Always check your side of the
meter before calling MWSC. If MWSC sends a serviceman and the leak
is on the member’s side there will be a $30 service charge
added to your bill. Leaks on the MWSC side of the meter will not
cause an increase of water consumption to be recorded on the meter. |
